I LOVE GARDENING BOOKS.



I am joining http://thepolohouse.blogspot.com  for her Sunday collections party. Wow is this a beautiful blog-go visit.These are a few of my gardening books-yeah they are in a mess! I was helping a friend plan her landscaping and didn't get them put back. I just haven't had time to clean up in here since before Christmas-and of course when I do it will take all day, because I will pick up a book and read some,and pick up another book and browse it-you know if you are a reader! A photo of one of my favorite gardeners-remember Roger Swain from The Victory Garden on PBS? A real nice guy!

    Now that's a book collection! What a great place to browse. I remember Roger Swain from Victory Garden. That used to be one of my favorite gardening programs for many years. I also remember he occasionally had his young son, Asa?, on the program. Hope you have a great New Year, and I'm a new follower.

    Yours is the second post recently that I've read about collecting gardening books. I'd be like you, I'd easily get side tracked looking through these when trying to put them away. ;-)

    Yes, I remember Roger! I used to watch every Saturday. Loved the cooking segment when they would cook what they just picked.
