I am sharing two photos my friend Brittany took recently.I think they are beautiful. Did you know that swans mate for life-well at least that's what I have always heard. Lovely afternoon shadows soften these photos. I am joining http://www.heyharriet.blogspot.com for Shadow Shot Sunday.
They are so beautiful and the photos look great with the hazy effects. Not sure what it's called...lol...Have a great Labor Day.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos! Yes, I think swans do mate for life just as Canada Geese do.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely shadow shot for the day! And such beautiful swans! I, too, have heard that they mate for life. Hope your weekend is going well!

I hav always wanted a pair of swans, hard to keep them in the bath tub, as I have no pond. Maybe they could live in the Mississippi river? need to do research. Thanks, Richard from My Old Historic House.
ReplyDeleteI love the look of these. Pretty!
ReplyDeleteThe swans seem to be giving affection to one another!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE MY SHADOW
I love my shadow,
My shadow loves me;
We chat together
And don’t disagree!
My shadow and I
Prefer not to shout
As we go walking
And rambling about.
My shadow’s so wise,
I ask what she thinks;
She’s happy to share,
And then nods and winks.
My shadow and I
Are best buds, you see;
That’s why we try hard
To always agree!
