A SECRET GARDEN

This backyard garden was on a tour I recently took to Kosiusko, Ms. I love the beautiful entry gate that goes into this sunken garden.

Wow this is Pepto Bismol pink, but it is perfect for this shady garden and adds a fun element to the slightly formal setting. I love it!I am joining http://www.fishtailcottage.blogspot.com for Cottage Flora Thursday and http://www.tootsietime.blogspot.com  for Fertilizer Friday.

  4. Love the gate. I have always wanted a gated garden. Ran out of money, maybe in my next life. Love the pink chairs, adds some fun. Thanks, Richard, from My Old Historic House.

  5. A scrolled entry gate into a sunken garden - heaven! The pink chairs set off the pink blooms very well. What a fun tour that must have been.

  6. I love the pink chairs, and I may unashamedly steal the idea when I replace the Adirondack chairs in my main rose garden ... the former one was sage green, and I now think that a pop of pink may be just what this spot needs.

Greetings from another dog rescuer!!! My breed of choice is greyhounds.

  8. Thanks for sharing this secret garden, how I'd love to sit and drink in the tranquility there.
I have a friend that has decorated her whole backyard in the same shade of pink and also uses lots of pots of pink impatiens. It might not be for everyone, but I like the effect and it brightens her shady garden as well.

  11. Wow, a very lovely garden and the gate is beautiful. However, the chairs are a little too pink for me. I can see them near a lake or beach but not in my back yard. Your previous post shows the shows your artful nature. Peace
