RUSTIC BUT ELEGANT LUNCH

A lovely table scape with McCarty pottery-made right here in Mississippi. This was at the Gardens of Madison County tour. The rabbits are among my favorite of their pieces. Of course the bowls are great too.Love the grapevines and ivy-perfect for an outdoor setting.
Cute little bluebirds.
Love these huge lanterns set around for ambiance. Look at the cute birds nest and eggs inside. This most unusual candle holder looks great in this table scape. For more information about McCarty pottery and the story of its beginnings go to http://www.mccartyspottery.com  And don't forget to enter my give away of the wonderful Barbra Streisand decorating book-check my sidebar for details.

  9. I think I like the bluebirds the best on the table setting. Kiss my Grits, you and I have the same addiction SHOES. Did you see the Sunday morning show on CBS where this lady gambler had 3,000 pairs of shoes? I would be happy with a third of her loot. Before back surgery had lots of hills and still love them but cannot wear them however, flat shoes, wedges, etc come in lots of colors and styles. I am looking for a perfect purple at the moment. Your give away is very generous. Peace

  11. Mississippi Artist,
The look of that tour is so refreshing in this unbearable heat wave on the Prairies! I'm thinking of something similar to those lanterns for my own front porch for the Fall & Winter. "Mr. Ed" and I are on the lookout for economically priced ones to use with battery candles (for safety purposes)! Seeing these on your tour affirms that they would be stunning On Crooked Creek!!! Thank you for sharing!
    Fondly,
    Pat
