I thought I would share a few random shots from my garden today. We have been getting wonderfull rains and cooler temps, so things are looking better.Look closely at the top photo-see the fly? He was soon to be lunch for the little fellow in the bottom photo.
Love the blooms on this hibiscus. They are usually about the size of a large salad plate, but were smaller this year-probably due to the extreme drought and high temps we had earlier. I am joining http://www.fishtailcottage.blogspot.com for Cottage Flora Thursday. Also http://www.tootsietime.blogspot.com for Fertilizer Friday.
my hibicus won't bloom for weeks yet. send me your rain and cooler temperatures!!! this weather is killing me!

ReplyDeleteLovely flowers and I am very fond of the color. I hope your central unit has been repaired for several days now. We were worried about the one at the kitchen end of the house but Prince worked on it and it is cooling better now. Peace

Hey girl...love the colors of those flowers..I use to have a red hibiscus that I always carried a piece of with me everywhere I moved for the last 26 yrs...but the draught killed it...I will probably sneak over to sister's house and get a piece of her's when she's not looking...lol

ReplyDeleteTY for you sweet wishes for the little church down our road. The congregation I am sure will rebuild. All that is left is the frame.

The phlox is so pretty with the resident fly onboard. I wish I had the ability to grow hibiscus like yours, mine don't bloom until nearly the end of August and then they're kinda floppy. Yours is beautiful!
