DECORATING FOR SPRING

I am joining Susan for Metamorphasis Monday at http://www.betweennapsontheporch/
It's March and to me it's time to lighten up and get the spring stuff out. Here in the South it has been in the seventies and eighties for the last two weeks, so my winter decor was feeling way heavy. Of course I have to use my beloved blue and white, and doesn't the yellow forsythia just look perfect with it? I am thinking I need to change out the urns for something in a lighter color.
This was the before- my after Christmas winter mantel. Very warm and cozy looking for a cold Januuary and part of February.
A clse up shot of my bird and nests. Don't you just love bird nests-so cute.

Blue Willow is one of my favorites and love how you displayed it.

Your mantel looks great. I love blue and white as well ... timeless and always so cheerful. We still have snow here in Buffalo, but I'm counting the days till spring. Thanks for sharing your springtime pretties.

Hi!
I haven't been on the puter much lately. I just love your blue vases with the forsythia! You inspired me. :)

Although my home is decorated in a lot of red, yellow, and green, I find myself being drawn more and more to all shades of blue, and particularly blue and yellow. And I so much love the forsythia. I think that your mantel looks great. You are inspiring me to get mine done, too.

Of course, as soon as I make it look all spring like, we will probably be plunged back into freezing temperatures!
