in this part of Mississippi going to the Neshoba County Fair is the big thing- it's called a giant houseparty. The fairgrounds has these cute little cabins all over it. They are owned by individual families and some of them are passed down through the generations. People go and stay the whole week and it's one big party. I went to enter two of my paintings in the art show, but I won't go to the fair- It is hot and dirty and lots of mosquitoes- not my thing at all- but it is interesting, to a lot of people, I think I read somewhere that about 35,000 people will pass through.I am joining http://www.decortoadore.blogspot.com for Wayfaring Wednesday.
